Wearable Technology and Well-being

Wearable Technology and Well-being

Join us at our next Wearable Technology Special Interest Group event at Silverstone Technology Park.

The event will offer greater insights into how wearable technology could influence and improve overall well-being in the workplace and in day-to-day life.

We have an exciting line up of industry experts, who will share their insights and experience of different wearable technology solutions and how these could be applied across a number of spheres. The event will include a number of presentations as well as a panel discussion with our speakers.

We are thrilled to announce we will be joined by:

  • Professor Oliver Pearce is a hip and knee specialist surgeon at Milton Keynes University Hospital and the Vice Chair of Research. His research interests cross clinical topics relating to hip and knee surgery. Metal surface topology and bactericidal properties. Use of Drones in Healthcare. Remote monitoring of patients with wearables and use of patient care Apps. Robotic Surgery and 3D analysis of joint movements with wearables. Pressure sore monitoring with pressure sensitive mats. Medicines compliance with digital cartridge delivery of medications. And post operative adapted textiles and garments post-surgery.
