South Midlands Growth Grants launch
The South Midlands Growth Grants have launched, welcoming Expressions of Interest from businesses who’d like grant funding to help fuel their growth.
The grants are focussed on supporting businesses to invest in innovation, adopt new technologies and unlock new opportunities.

What you need to know:
- There are two new grants businesses can apply for:
- South Midlands Capital Growth Grant – supporting SMEs to accelerate growth, foster innovation & support decarbonisation efforts
Funding available: £5,000 to £50,000 - South Midlands Micro Capital Grant – supporting sole traders, micro and early stage businesses to drive growth and enhance innovation
Funding available: £300 to £3,000
- South Midlands Capital Growth Grant – supporting SMEs to accelerate growth, foster innovation & support decarbonisation efforts
- 50% matched funding is required for both grants
- Before applying for a grant, you need to submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) to the South Midlands Growth Hub
- The deadline for EOIs is 17:00 on Wednesday 17th December 2025
Who can submit an EOI?
- Any business based in the South Midlands (North Northamptonshire, West Northamptonshire, Milton Keynes City, Luton, Bedford Borough or Central Bedfordshire)
